Hello! As an authentic Sardinia citizen I have been thinking about many many things since I moved to Spain! One of this is the peculiar character of the inhabitants from Sardinia.
The Sardinian population differs in character per region. Along the coast the people are mostly open towards tourists. In the middle of Sardinia live many shepherds and religious people that are very keen on their own customs and traditions. Since my mother is from the interior part and my father from the coast, you can get into conclusion. A bit confusing I would say.

Spain
This month I moved to Spain to live in this beautiful Country. It is very similar to my Sardinia indeed. In 1479 as a result of the marriage of Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabel of Castile, the "Kingdom of Sardinia" (which was separated from Corsica) became Spanish, with the state symbol of the Four Moors. The Kingdom of Sardinia remained Spanish for approximately 400 years, from 1323 to 1720, assimilating a number of Spanish traditions, customs and linguistic expressions. and here you got a spanish ceramic..

Craft Stone
In Sardinia, as in most ancient civilizations, stone, before becoming a tool was certainly an object of worship, as attested by the thousands of megalithic monuments scattered around the island. The expertise in its use as construction material is documented by at least 3000 years, in approximately 7,000 nuraghi in sacred wells and tombs of giants come down to us. Many buildings in Italy, Europe, America and Japan, are finished with Sardinian granite. This precious stone so called "white gold" for its quality.

Weaving Crafts
The weaving and embroidery produce blankets, carpets, tapestries, saddlebags. The rustic wooden looms still weave wool from the sheep sardines. Other materials used for weaving are cotton, always imported flax grown in the past throughout the island, silk, which Bacchus was brought up in the island, used for some garments women's clothing and wool goats. These dyes were obtained mainly from plants and minerals and, in contrast to synthetic ones, gave more reliable for durability and higher quality in the shade.
The oldest fabric: the woollen. It was the most common product of weaving until early 1800. It was an essential element of the traditional dress of Sardinia and was of different qualities depending on use and social class which was intended. With its waterproof characteristics of the goat's hair was used to pack "on Saccu de coberri" blanket cape used by shepherds as well as tents.
